Emergency Backup Built Into the J-Box
The TANLITE J-box emergency LED driver integrates the emergency power supply, rechargeable battery, wiring compartment, test switch and LED charge indicator into one compact ceiling-mounted assembly. When normal AC power is interrupted, the driver automatically switches the connected compatible LED luminaire to emergency operation for at least 90 minutes.

Wiring & Test Functions
Input wires: Red—24/7 AC line; White—neutral; Black—switched AC line; Green—ground.
Output wires: Brown—lamp line; Blue—lamp neutral.
Solid red indicator: normal charging or fully charged.
Flashing red indicator: battery is disconnected, utility power is off, or the unit is discharging.
Test switch: press during normal operation to test emergency mode; hold approximately 3 seconds during emergency operation to switch it off.
